Rules

Please make sure your machine is suitable for the class you have entered and it is in keeping with the spirit of the event.

 If you deviate from the above standard it will affect the points you gain in championship events you enter.

  • MAIN FRAME LOOP

    Main frame loop to be retained as original.

  • ALLOWED ALTERATIONS
    • Additional strengthening.
    • Repositioning of oil/fuel tanks.
    • Replica frames are accepted.
  • FRONT FORKS
    • Later parts may be used internally but must appear to be original externally. No Ceriani or BSA 4-Stud fixing will be allowed,
    • BSA 2-stud is acceptable
  • YOKES
    • Only British or British replica yokes can be used.
  • HUBS
    • Hubs must be of pre 65 pattern.
  • WHEELS
    • No Tubeless Rims allowed.
  • ENGINE AND GEARBOX
    • Engine and gearbox must be original or of the same type manufactured for the appropriate class. No Twin plug heads or Reed Valves will be accepted.
  • CARBURETTORS
    • Must be of British manufacture and the type originally fitted to engine ie
    • Amal mkI. concentric allowed Not mk2.
  • BRAKES
    • Front and rear brakes must be fitted and working.
    • Only hub brakes may be used (no disc brakes).
    • Any linkage for rear brake may be used i.e. rod or cable.
    • Brake shoes may be fitted with any type or make of lining.
